Class of Digital Signatures

Class 2:

In India, as e-filing is made compulsory in Registrar of Companies, Income Tax, Employees' provident Fund Organisation and Sales Tax, GST, every signing authority needs to have their Class 2 with PAN Encryption Digital Signature Certificate.

Class 3:

Every Person or Organisation participate in the e-Tendering/e-Procurement /e-Auction, is required to use a Class 3 Digital Signatures Certificate.

Proof of Authorized Signatory (Board Resolution)    
Authorized Signatory Organizational ID Card / Self-Attested Letter of Organizational Identity
Copy of PAN Card of Applicant, if PAN provided

DGFT Certificate:

DGFT Digital signature Certificate can be used for applying Importer and Exporter License (IEC) through online.

General Instructions
  1. Affix recent passport photograph of the applicant duly signed across.
  2. The supporting documents should be attested by either one of Gazetted Officer/Bank Manager/Post Master, only)
  3. The signature of the applicant, on the application form should be in Blue ink only.
  4. E-mail and Mobile of the individual applicant will be must
  5. It is a unique name and Signature of the Subscriber as provided in the identity documents for the personal certificates (PAN Card Copy) . If the Applicant has a different signature means he get letter from Banker for change of their signatures.
